Arrive on Sunday for the following:
2-5 p.m. Check-in and Welcome Packet pick-up, Norton Residence Hall
6 p.m. Supper Buffet in Hinds University Center (non-resident
participants and guests purchase tickets on enclosed Registration Form)
6:45-7:45 p.m. General Meeting for all participants and staff.
7:45-8:45 p.m. Special Welcome Presentation and Local Music
9 p.m. Organized jam sessions in Norton Residence Hall
After: Please enjoy informal jams as late as you like in Norton lobbies.

Typical Weekday Schedule:
7:00-8:15 a.m. Breakfast in Dodson Cafeteria
8:00-8:25 a.m. Dulcimer Marketplace (Tues. through Thurs., optional)
8:30-10:00 a.m. Dulcimer courses
10-10:30 a.m. Coffee Break
10:30-11:30 a.m. Dulcimer courses resume
11:30-1 p.m. Lunch in Dodson Cafeteria
1-1:45 p.m. Mid-day organized jam sessions (optional)
1-1:45 p.m. Dulcimer Marketplace (Mon. through Thurs., optional)
2-4 p.m. Elective classes (optional)
4:30-5:15 p.m. Dulcimer Marketplace (note Supper time)
5:30-6:30 p.m. Supper in Dodson Cafeteria
Evenings: Concerts, Open Stage
After: Organized jam sessions in residence hall lobbies, followed by informal jamming in late-night “playing” areas. (All jams optional.)

Friday:
8:30 a.m.-9:15 a.m. Farewell Session and Coffee
9:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Dulcimer Courses
12:15-1 p.m. Final Dorm Check-out Time

DULCIMER ENTHUSIASTS WILL BE THRILLED with all the learning, entertainment and social events here, but it’s smart to pace yourself through the week. You’ll want to make sure to attend Sunday night’s General Meeting/Welcome Party and your sequential courses. Our instructors generously pack lots of content into classes so you’ll need time to “digest” and practice. We like you to decide how full you want your schedule to be. Jam sessions, the marketplace, concerts, open stage and even electives can be optional. A delicious way to relax and rejuvenate is to sign up for a chair massage (see info in Special Features section of catalog).
