Welcome to SIAM-SEAS 2002

All sessions and invited presentations will be held in the Ramsey Activity Center of Western Carolina University, starting at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, April 19, 2002, and ending at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 20, 2002. Registration packets can be picked up throughout the two days at the center. Student paper sessions begin at 10:00 A.M. Friday. Some general sessions may run concurrently with the student paper sessions. Refreshments will be available both days.

On Friday evening there will be a social hour (6:30 - 7:30 P.M.), followed by dinner (buffet) in the Hospitality Room of the Ramsey Center at 7:30 P.M. Saturday morning schedule begins with a breakfast (buffet) at the Center (8:00 - 9:00 A.M.), followed by invited talks, breakout sessions, and a picnic style lunch (12:00 - 1:00 P.M.) on the balcony of Ramsey Center. The conference will conclude with the SIAM-SEAS business meeting (4:00 - 4:15 P.M.)

The registration fee is $45 for non-students and $30 for students. This fee includes Friday evening social hour, Friday evening dinner (buffet), Saturday morning breakfast (buffet), Saturday picnic style lunch, refreshments both days and all registration packet materials. Non-members of SIAM-SEAS are welcome to attend, present papers at the meeting and to join as members. Annual membership dues are $5.
