Welcome to SIAM-SEAS 2002

All sessions and invited presentations will be held in the Ramsey Activity Center of Western Carolina University, starting at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, April 19, 2002, and ending at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 20, 2002. Registration packets can be picked up throughout the two days at the center. Student paper sessions begin at 10:00 A.M. Friday. Some general sessions may run concurrently with the student paper sessions. Refreshments will be available both days.

On Friday evening there will be a social hour (6:30 - 7:30 P.M.), followed by dinner (buffet) in the Hospitality Room of the Ramsey Center at 7:30 P.M. Saturday morning schedule begins with a breakfast (buffet) at the Center (8:00 - 9:00 A.M.), followed by invited talks, breakout sessions, and a picnic style lunch (12:00 - 1:00 P.M.) on the balcony of Ramsey Center. The conference will conclude with the SIAM-SEAS business meeting (4:00 - 4:15 P.M.)

The registration fee is $45 for non-students and $30 for students. This fee includes Friday evening social hour, Friday evening dinner (buffet), Saturday morning breakfast (buffet), Saturday picnic style lunch, refreshments both days and all registration packet materials. Registration form and details appear on a separate page below. Please note the deadline for registration is March 20.

Non-members of SIAM-SEAS are welcome to attend, present papers at the meeting and to join as members. Annual membership dues are $5.
